Friday, July 24, we’ll watch Howl’s Moving Castle. 2-4 pm @ the library.
If you haven’t already, come by and sign up to get a fantastic free bag full of goodies – and pick up your list of “31 Things To Do”…it’ll keep you busy for the rest of July!
Mayhem!
Tomorrow, June 2, the Children’s summer reading program unleashes it’s craziness on the library! This means if you have signed up to volunteer (or if you’ve been thinking about it) tomorrow is your chance to show your stuff!
So far our volunteers have logged over 30 hours of helpfulness. They’ve decorated, created crafts, built a house out of cereal boxes, and assorted other projects.
We’ll need a great showing from our teen volunteers to make the day a success! See you all at the library around 9:30 am – and wear your running shoes!
The Big Burger vs. Comic Books
Well, the big burger won. El Reno’s 21st Annual Friend Onion Burger Day will be held tomorrow, May 2 in Downtown El Reno! What does this have to do with comic books? Well, the library will be CLOSED on Burger Day – which means you will all miss out on Free Comic Book Day here at the library!
Dear Readers, we know your hearts are broken – but hear this! We’ll give out free comic books all next week (or until our stash is gone) to make up for it. So drop by next week, May 4-8 and pick up a free comic book!
Free book!
Apparently for a limited time only, you can visit the Amazon page for The Alchemyst by Michael Scott and download a free PDF version of the book!
Here’s the link. You’ll want to look below the area that shows the different editions that are available (Kindle, hardback, paperback, etc.)
Question of the day – would you read an entire book while sitting at your computer? Have you?
